Made from 100% Pure New Wool at our mill in Selkirk, Scotland, this quality of tweed fabric is traditionally used for making bespoke tailored goods like kilts, kilt jackets and waistcoats, it is also highly recommended for soft furnishings and upholstery. Shetland Herringbone Medium Weight Tweed Fabric
Our 100% pure new wool Shetland Tweed jacketing fabric is available from stock in a range of fabrics in six patterns. These classic herringbones have been designed especially for kilt jackets and waistcoats to complement our Strome™ and Braeriach™ tartans.
Selkirk Tartan Heavyweight Tweed Fabric
Our Selkirk Tweed™ is made from 100% pure new wool and, 50% of the wool is of Scottish origin. As we continue our environmental journey one of our aims is to increase our use of British sourced yarns for our fabrics and accessories. The Selkirk Tweed™ stock range comprises of nine classic tartans interpreted to reflect our natural environment and have been woven with a kilting selvedge. This quality is based on our premium Strome™ and is a beautiful addition to our stocked tartans.
